MTV Films is the film production arm of cable channel MTV. Founded in 1996, has produced films based on MTV programs such as Beavis and Butt-head do America and Jackass: The Movie, as well as other adaptations and original projects. His films are released by fellow Viacom division Paramount Pictures.On August 21, 2006, MTV Films and Nickelodeon Movies labels filled the Paramount Motion Pictures Group. MTV Films last feature is the struggle against the Iraq war movie Stop-Loss. Since the network MTV has a history of left political activism, it is possible that similar films will be produced by MTV.
