Although we had two movies last year, Clint Eastwood continues to work hard, direct more films and has another due this December. The new draft is the Nelson Mandela film starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. Containment in Kristopher Tapley was the first to report that the movie was officially titled Invictus, ie Latin Invincible. The film follows Mandela's attempt to use the Rugby World Cup 1995 to cure his people after his release from prison, the fall of apartheid and his election as president of South Africa. And the title is often referred to a poem recited by Mandela.
Invictus is a short poem by William Henley 1875 seriously, and Tapley said, "was a great inspiration to the freedom fighter" because it refers to the desire to survive in the face of adversity. You can find the poem at the bottom of the article on containment. Warner Brothers has set a December 11 release for Invictus with the hope of repeating the same success they had with the Gran Torino Eastwood, who made an incredible $ 148 million at the box office. The film plays against Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones, which also opens the same day in December. Both are expected to be major awards contenders last minute.
Invictus was formerly known as the human factor and is an adaptation of John Carlin's book entitled "Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game that made a nation." In fact, he ran a few pictures of some scenes of gunfire Damon rugby in South Africa in March, but we have not seen what that looks like Morgan Freeman as Mandela yet. This is definitely a project that will maintain a close and will let you know when we have more. For now, Warner Brothers is planning a great news for Invictus, but that obviously could change. Until we have more at the forefront in contention for the full story in the new title.
